about me
I’m here to guide you toward strength that lasts, inside and outside the gym
With over 9 years of hands‑on coaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredibly diverse range of clients from older adults rebuilding strength and confidence, to athletes and physique competitors, to fellow trainers, and long‑time gym‑goers ready to level up.
My specialty lies in training the general population and helping people transform their relationship with health and fitness. I believe personal training is a uniquely powerful service: one‑on‑one, consistent, and deeply personal. When you combine accountability with genuine connection, you create an environment where real, sustainable change becomes possible.
My coaching philosophy centers on balance: the intersection of consistency and stepping outside one’s comfort zone, and the harmony between discipline and strategy. My goal is to take the guesswork out of health and fitness so you can focus on showing up, learning your potential, and building habits that elevate every part of your life.
I understand the real barriers people face: limited time, lack of confidence, not knowing where to start, or simply not having support. My job is to help you navigate those roadblocks with clarity, structure, and encouragement. Whether you’re brand new to the gym or looking to push your limits, I’m here to guide you toward strength that lasts, inside and outside the gym.
“As a human, I think we are always looking for the magic pill to 'fix' things. Lifting weights with Talia, who is awesome by the way, improved my sleep, my gut, my outlook and I am seeing other results in less than two weeks! One time a week is not enough to get these benefits, but 3x for 30 min does. So thank you!!!!”

I’m a former dancer and dance teacher who still can’t resist moving whenever there’s music. I take great pride in being delightfully mediocre at karaoke and can (and will) spend way too long crafting the perfect playlist for any occasion. If I'm not in the gym, I'm most likely sitting in the sun, sipping espresso, or purchasing the next irresistible knickknack for my apartment.
My education/ qualifications
With ten years in the industry, my most valuable qualification will always be the time I’ve spent working with real people. I’ve attended countless workshops and believe deeply in continuing education, but nothing compares to the experience of coaching individuals with real limitations, unique goals, and their own personal relationships with fitness. Those years of hands‑on work have shaped my approach far more than any textbook ever could: teaching me how to meet people where they are, adapt on the fly, and create training that truly fits the human in front of me.
PTA Global is recognized worldwide, endorsed by NESTA, and accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA): the gold standard in fitness certification. What really sets it apart is its fresh, human‑centered approach. It acknowledges the psychological and emotional side of why people seek fitness in the first place, and builds that into its teaching. The curriculum goes far beyond the basics, covering exercise science, nutrition, program design, client assessment, and behavior‑based training systems. It’s a certification that truly prepares coaches to understand people, not just programs.
What sets Pre‑Script® education apart is its rigorous, science‑backed approach to human performance that goes far beyond standard industry fluff. Pre‑Script® is the definitive applied biomechanics and resistance training certification, covering everything from advanced training principles and exercise programming to the full hierarchy of human movement. The course takes a principles‑first approach, breaking down the physiology of performance into clear, functional components and then rebuilding them into a complete, high‑performance movement system.
